Welcome to the HamMUN conference – taking place at the University of Hamburg! Our university was founded in 1919 by Werner von Melle. With its 42,000 students it constitutes in one of the biggest universities in Germany. It is divided into eight faculties offering about 150 different degree courses. The university includes a complex of buildings with amusing names like „Philosophenturm“ – philosophes tower – or „Pferdestall“ – horse stall. It is located in the beautiful area Rotherbaum in Hamburg, so it only takes you 10 minutes to get right into the heart of the city, the town hall and our lovely Alster.
